Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Higashi goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Gonzalez moves into the clinch successfully.
Gonzalez has Higashi pressed against the cage, preventing Higashi from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Higashi is looking to break free of the clinch but Gonzalez has double underhooks.
