Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tonka Richer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richer comes to the cage accompanied by NJJD. Nelson has chosen Trogdor as his entrance music. Johnny Nelson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richer with a jab.
Nelson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Richer avoids it really well and circles away.
Richer scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nelson in his tracks.
Richer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nelson circles away quickly and effectively.
Nelson looks for a takedown but Richer sprawls well.
Richer throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Richer fails to land with a series of punches.
Richer works Nelson's body with a nice hook.
Nelson jabs Richer right on the nose. Richer blinks but takes it well.

Nelson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Richer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Tonka Richer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Nelson.
Nelson looks gassed!
Nelson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Richer sprawls well. Richer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nelson gets slowly back to his feet.
Richer lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Richer.

and Richer counters with a nice body shot.
Richer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nelson circles away quickly and effectively.
Nelson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Richer is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Nelson.
Richer lands a jab to Nelson's midsection.
Nelson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Richer getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Nelson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Richer scores with a decent looking hook.
Richer jabs at Nelson's body.
Richer drops Nelson with a beautiful combination! Nelson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Richer is looking for the KO!
Nelson is rocked!
Nelson seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Richer shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Nelson is backing up but Richer catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Nelson covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Richer Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tonka Richer!
