The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a poor cross that misses
and Pukki cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Pukki throws a head kick but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson misses with an uppercut. Pukki saw that one coming.
Pukki moves out of range of the body kick from Johnson.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pukki is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

and Pukki counters with a head kick. That will keep Johnson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Pukki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pukki off to one side.

Johnson cracks Pukki with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Pukki looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Johnson finish him?

Johnson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Pukki with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Johnson to score with a decent uppercut.

Pukki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Pukki persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing.
