Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Casillas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marco Belfort will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Casillas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marco Belfort! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belfort throws a front kick aimed at Casillas's knee but Casillas avoids it well. Belfort tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Casillas tries to clinch up. Casillas throws a right and a left that Belfort avoids nicely. Casillas misses with a low kick. Casillas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Belfort tries to avoid it but Casillas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Belfort to the ground. Belfort escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Casillas throws a right and a left that Belfort avoids nicely. Casillas on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Casillas closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Casillas is rocked! Casillas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Belfort. Oh Casillas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Casillas shoots for a double leg takedown but Belfort sprawls well. He's pushed Casillas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Casillas misses with a low kick as Belfort jumps back. Casillas throws a lazy right hand but Belfort sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Belfort shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Belfort was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Belfort lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Belfort scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Casillas?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Belfort has hold of Casillas's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Casillas manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Casillas seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Casillas is trying to escape the mount.
Belfort is landing with some decent strikes but Casillas is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Casillas tries to get back to half guard but can't. Casillas is working hard here to advance position. Belfort looking to secure an arm triangle but Casillas defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Casillas is squirming around, avoiding Belfort's attempts to control the action. Belfort prevents Casillas from getting the reversal. Belfort misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Casillas wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Belfort.
Belfort thowing shots but they're missing. Casillas is looking to improve his position but Belfort isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belfort stands up from mount. Strange move. Casillas throws an overhand right that lands on Belfort's shoulder, as Belfort tries to avoid the shot. Casillas throws a chopping leg kick but Belfort manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Belfort scores with a nice head shot. Casillas misses with a double jab.
Casillas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Casillas is breathing heavily. Belfort keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Casillas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Belfort misses with a wild combination.
Casillas has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Belfort finds it's way round the side to connect with Casillas's head. Belfort moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Casillas throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Belfort counters with a left and a right that stings Casillas. Casillas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A decent looking cross lands there for Belfort.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Belfort, as that shot connected.
Casillas takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Nice cross by Belfort. Casillas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Belfort throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Casillas advances position into side control! Belfort gets back to half guard. Belfort is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Casillas not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marco Belfort dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Casillas. Casillas misses with a two punch combination.
Belfort throws a low kick, looking for Casillas's leg but Casillas calmly moves out of range. Casillas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Belfort moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Belfort changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Casillas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Casillas tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Belfort wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Casillas avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Belfort. Belfort has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Casillas! Casillas really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Belfort lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Casillas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Belfort but Belfort pushes him off and we're back to square one. Casillas checks a low kick from Belfort. Casillas misses with a two punch combination.
Casillas swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Belfort counters with a left and a right that stings Casillas. Casillas is looking to clinch but Belfort is avoiding it.
Belfort drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Casillas right on the button. Casillas goes down! Belfort follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Belfort gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marco Belfort!
