Horrible takedown by Rua or perhaps it was just good defense by Hay which made him look bad. Hay throws a right and a left that both miss. Hay dives in and scores a takedown into Rua's guard. Hay gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Hay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rua. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rua with a couple of short strikes.

Rua has the hooks in. Hay is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Rua is working for the choke.
