Gracie's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Boris Brejcha - Openminded. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Ricardo Gracie has been cut.
Gracie takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gable.
Gable thumps Gracie with a low kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gracie closes the distance but Gable moves to the side
and Gable counters with a straight right hand.
Gracie tries to clinch up but Gable circles away and keeps his distance.

and Gable counters with a leg kick.
Gracie fails in his attempt to clinch.
Gable throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Ricardo Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Gable counters with a nice low kick that buckles Gracie's knee momentarily.
Gracie on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Gable lands a big head kick that sends Gracie tumbling to the mat! Gable takes a step backwards and waves Gracie back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A solid leg kick lands there for Gable.

Gable lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gracie's sensitive parts.
The crowd cheers as Gable lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gracie doesn't seem phased though.

Gracie with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
A right handed body shot lands from Gable.
Gracie's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Gable pushes Gracie against the cage. Gable is working some dirty boxing. Gable pushes off with a quick right hook! Gracie goes down! Gracie tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Gable moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
