Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joel Singapore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Torres might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Old Way's. Joel Singapore will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Miguel Torres! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joel Singapore! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singapore looks for the body kick but Torres saw that one coming. Singapore throws a body punch but Torres moves out of range. Torres loads up on a big right hand but Singapore slips the punch. Torres really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Singapore lands with a cross. Torres shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Singapore is trying to defend but Torres finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Singapore is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Torres pulls his head out easily. Torres is taking a breather. Singapore says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Torres working Singapore over with strikes. Singapore pushes Torres off looking to stand but Torres dives back in and keeps control.
Torres looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Singapore on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Torres is controlling the pace.

Torres has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Torres lands with a punch from half guard. Torres takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Torres is thwarting Singapore's attempts to control the position. Torres landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Singapore wants to improve his position but Torres is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Torres seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Torres is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Torres winds up and cracks Singapore with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Singapore is trying to stand up here but Torres is controlling him well.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice strikes from Torres there. Singapore has hold of Torres's hands but Torres slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Torres drops an elbow to the side of Singapore's head. Torres keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Singapore taking some punishment here, with Torres in his half guard. Singapore has a hand on Torres's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Torres takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Torres putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Singapore is rocked! Singapore working to try and regain half guard.
Singapore is still in real trouble! Can Torres finish him? Torres controlling from mount. Torres with the ground and pound from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torres unloading with bombs! Singapore taking shots to the head. Torres with a couple of short strikes. Torres postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Singapore bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Torres and the fight is over!
