Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trent Colton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Silverman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Trent Colton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chris Silverman! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colton tries to close the distance and clinch but Silverman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Silverman tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Colton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Colton shoots in but no luck this time. Silverman moves away from the strike by Colton. Colton tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silverman swivels and escapes. Colton misses with a body kick. Colton tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Silverman counters with a head kick. Colton fails with the takedown and Silverman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trent Colton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silverman breaks from the clinch.
Silverman lands with a thumping leg kick.
A big right from Colton misses. Colton doesn't succeed with the takedown and Silverman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Colton's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colton can't keep his opponent in guard - Silverman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Silverman throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Silverman wants to free his trapped foot but Colton is holding on for dear life with his legs. Silverman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Colton is trying to stand.
Colton is defending against the submission attempts here by Silverman.
Silverman seems to be looking for submissions.
Silverman is keen to just control but Colton is a slippery customer. Silverman is working for a kimura but Colton is defending it quite comfortably.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Silverman throws a sloppy head kick and Colton counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silverman won't be happy with that. Colton is breathing heavily. Colton advances nicely into full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silverman working to try and regain half guard.
Colton working Silverman over with strikes here. Silverman sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Silverman looking for submissions off his back. Silverman is looking for a sweep. Colton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Colton sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Silverman defending well though. Silverman looking for submissions off his back. Silverman wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silverman is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Colton pulls his head out easily. Silverman actively working from the bottom here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Silverman forces Colton back against the cage and clinches. Silverman scores with a knee to the head.
Colton is trying to break the clinch but Silverman has him pressed against the cage. Silverman tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Colton tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Silverman just stands there and leans against the cage. Colton goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Silverman lands a takedown into guard.
Silverman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Colton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silverman trying to control but Colton is working from the bottom. Silverman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Silverman wants to pass the guard but Colton is keeping the position. Colton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silverman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Colton has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Silverman doesn't defend quickly enough and Colton has managed to lock this one up! Can Silverman escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Colton on a fantastic submission victory.
