Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Asher Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santiago is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Asesinos - Los Crudos. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asher Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Santiago! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Santiago. Lee scores with a nice right hand.
Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Santiago. Santiago keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lee. Lee stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Santiago fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lee sprawls well initially but Santiago persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Santiago thows a huge punch but Lee dodges it nicely.

Santiago throws out a token jab with nothing on it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Santiago changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Santiago manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Santiago closes the distance and clinches up with Lee, looking for a takedown. Santiago pushes Lee against the cage but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Good standup being displayed there by Lee as he connects with a hook. Lee cracks Santiago with an open hand slap. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Santiago throws a lazy right hand but Lee sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Santiago throws a head kick that misses. Santiago misses with the combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lee misses with a looping left. Santiago takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Lee looks to land a combination but Santiago avoids it well. Lee connects with a looping right hand.
Santiago shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Santiago moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Jab, jab by Lee - just one landing. Lee throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Santiago. Santiago digs a good body shot into Lee's ribs.

Lee throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Lee is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Lee throws a nice looking combination but Santiago bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Santiago tried to score with a low kick but Lee checks it. Asher Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Santiago throws a right hand that Lee ducks under and follows up with a left that Lee also avoids with ease. Santiago shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense. Asher Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Santiago. Lee stuffs the takedown attempt from Santiago. Santiago gets slowly back to his feet. Santiago walks into a straight right hand from Lee.

Santiago shoots in looking for a takedown but Lee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Santiago's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Decent striking displayed by Lee there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nice jab there from Lee. Lee feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Santiagos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Santiago swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Santiago walks into a jab. Santiago steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lee. Lee stuns Santiago with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Lee throws a jab when Santiago was well out of range. Santiago tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lee was well out of range. Poor timing from Santiago. Lee throws a right and a left that both miss. Santiago walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Santiago lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lee circles away quickly and effectively. Lee moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Santiago misses with a low kick.
Santiago throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Santiago off to one side. Lee lands a left and a right that send Santiago crashing to the mat, dazed. Lee thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Santiago is rocked! Lee steps in with a hook that catches Santiago right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Lee follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Santiago looks absolutely devastated.
