Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyrone Watkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnnie Boy Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrone Watkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnnie Boy Gracie! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sloppy strikes from Gracie. Those never looked like landing. A head kick from Watkins lands but Gracie takes it in his stride. Gracie loads up on a big right hand but Watkins slips the punch. Watkins lands a big head kick that sends Gracie tumbling to the mat! Watkins takes a step backwards and waves Gracie back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Gracie is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Watkins clinches up with Gracie and pushes him back against the cage. Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can Watkins finish him? Watkins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gracie throws a lazy uppercut
and Watkins counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Gracie off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Watkins follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Gracie was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tyrone Watkins! After the fight, Tyrone Watkins was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
