Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin shoots for a double leg takedown but Schautz sprawls well. He's pushed Martin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Martin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Martin lands in his opponent's guard.
Schautz thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Martin is stalling in the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martin won't allow Schautz to get back to his feet.

Martin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Schautz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Martin somewhat.
