And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Pegg shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Pegg instigates a clinch.
Pegg escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Pegg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pegg shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pegg swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva.
Silva tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Pegg moves into the clinch.
Silva on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Pegg tries to pull guard but Silva holds him up against the cage and eventually Pegg drops back down to his feet.
Antonio Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Pegg.
Silva tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Silva putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Pegg in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pegg is trying to drag Silva to the mat but Silva just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Pegg tries to land knees in the clinch but Silva avoids the damage to the body.
Pegg takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Paul Pegg has been cut.
Silva connects with a nasty looking knee right to Pegg's face.
Silva lands a big knee! That's hurt Pegg! Oh, he's all over the place! Silva lands another knee that sends Pegg to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
