Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tomek Gutzeit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Kolobnev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gutzeit comes to the cage accompanied by Sobota- Do gory leb. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomek Gutzeit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Igor Kolobnev!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutzeit tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kolobnev is able to avoid easily.

Kolobnev gets caught napping as Gutzeit dives in and scores a takedown. Kolobnev manages to retain guard.
Gutzeit sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kolobnev's guard.

Gutzeit is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kolobnev defends it well.
Kolobnev looks like he's trying to stand up.

Gutzeit is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kolobnev has managed to free his arm - good work.

Gutzeit is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Gutzeit wants to work for an arm triangle but Kolobnev is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kolobnev is trying to stand back up but Gutzeit is controlling him

Gutzeit is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kolobnev defends it well.
Gutzeit moves nicely into side control.
Kolobnev tries to escape but Gutzeit is in control.

Gutzeit wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kolobnev, who protects the arm well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Gutzeit has an Americana. Kolobnev didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gutzeit is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gutzeit hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Tomek Gutzeit!
Tomek Gutzeit very nearly forgot to thank TGC WEAR amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
