Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brad Charyak!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charyak turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Charyak wants to clinch.
Joe Davola seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good shot there by Davola.
A swing and a miss from Davola.
Charyak throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Charyak misses with a low kick.
Davola avoids the head kick by Charyak.
Charyak uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Davola.
Charyak closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Davola did well to prevent Charyak getting side control.
Davola is trying to stand back up but Charyak is controlling him
Davola wants to control but Charyak is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Charyak is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Charyak is keen to just control but Davola is a slippery customer.
Davola is in trouble now - Charyak has advanced to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davola is trying to escape the mount.

Charyak in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
It looks like Joe Davola has been cut.

Davola is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Charyak throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
BOOM! Charyak connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Davola avoids a series of strikes thrown by Charyak.
Charyak takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Davola is in all sorts of trouble here.
Charyak with shots to the head and body - Davola looks very uncomfortable down there.
Davola is desperately trying to improve his position but Charyak has a good base and remains in mount.

Charyak connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Davola is rocked!
Joe Davola's cut is getting worse.
Davola takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Charyak's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
