The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshihira attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Yoshihira avoids the head kick by Watkins.
Yoshihira misses with a wild combination.
Yoshihira throws a nice looking combination but Watkins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Watkins gets caught napping as Yoshihira dives in and scores a takedown. Watkins manages to retain guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Yoshihira would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
