The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sidelnikov fails with the takedown
and Johnson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Sidelnikov sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Sidelnikov is staying active underneath Johnson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Johnson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Sidelnikov has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Johnson. Oh but Sidelnikov has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Johnson goes limp - he's gone! Sidelnikov jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
