Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sniper Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Game Bred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sniper Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Game Bred!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bred closes the distance and clinches.
Bred is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bob is keeping busy.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bred takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Bob avoids a wild elbow strike from Bred.
Bob leaning his opponent against the cage.
Bred throws a knee to the head but misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bred tries to land a knee to the head but Bob blocks with his arms.

Bred is trying to maintain a safe position but Bob gets an underhook and turns Bred into the cage.
Bred is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage.
Bred misses with an elbow over the top.
Bob takes an elbow to the forehead.
Bob is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Bred tries to land knees in the clinch but Bob avoids the damage to the body.

Bred has managed to clinch.
Bob's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Bred tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bob's elbow.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Game Bred will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bob is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Sniper Bob.

Bred takes the fight into the clinch.

Bob has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Bred darts in and clinches Bob up against the cage.

Bred is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Game Bred will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Bred pushes off an throws an elbow but Bob leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Bob will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bred up against the cage.
Bred tries to stall but Bob uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bob stalling in the clinch.

Bred misses with the head strike.
Bred wants to stall.
A nice left hand lands by Bred.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bred trying to stall but Bob improves his position.
Bred letting Bob take a breather here.
Bred is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bred fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bred crunches a lovely knee into Bob's ribcage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Bred just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bob's brow.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Bob blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Sniper Bob has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Game Bred is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Game Bred comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bred has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In his post fight interview, Game Bred started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
