The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
espinoza clinches up with Hiralal and pushes him back against the cage.
espinoza has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Hiralal is trying to keep an underhook but espinoza manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Hiralal looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with espinoza in particular looking to stall.
espinoza frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
espinoza fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
espinoza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hiralal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hiralal regains half guard.
espinoza is working for a submission of some sort.

espinoza drops back looking for a leg! Hiralal is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hiralal manages to kick espinoza off! espinoza jumps back into Hiralal's guard.
espinoza is working Hiralal over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

espinoza wants to control from the top but Hiralal keeps moving.
Hiralal escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. espinoza gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
espinoza is looking to stand up but Hiralal won't let him.
espinoza lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hiralal has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but espinoza can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
espinoza would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
espinoza must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Hiralal manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. espinoza manages to get himself to full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
espinoza wanted to stand there but Hiralal had control of the position.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

espinoza stuffs the takedown.
espinoza shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. espinoza showed some decent athleticism there.
espinoza wants to take a breather but Hiralal is having none of it.
espinoza is looking for a kimura but Hiralal is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for espinoza to get the leverage.
Hiralal moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Hiralal had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. espinoza is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hiralal Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take espinoza's back instead.
espinoza won't enjoy being in this position. Hiralal looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - espinoza is tapping - it's over boys! Hiralal picks up the submission victory!
