Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Brit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brit comes to the cage accompanied by Same in the End. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Brit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Lee!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Steve Montenegro and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Brit has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lee is working away from the top position though.
Lee thows a huge punch but Brit dodges it nicely.

The fighters are battling for position here. Brit manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Lee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brit works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Lee drops back looking for a leg! Brit is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brit manages to kick Lee off! Lee jumps back into Brit's guard.
Brit looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lee is one step ahead there.
Brit is trying to control the position but Lee postures up.
Lee loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Brit is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lee defends well.
Brit wants to sweep here but Lee controlling him for the moment.

Lee drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brit looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brit looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brit!

Lee throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Lee tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Brit controlling the position.
Lee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Brit has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brit swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lee's jab looks to have found its range, popping Brit under the eye.
Lee walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Brit thows a body kick. Lee tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Brit tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jimmy Brit will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Lee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brit is fending him off so far but Lee persists. Nope, Brit circles away and we're back to standing.
Lee throws a left and a right that both miss
and Brit counters with a nice uppercut.
Lee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brit pinned against the cage. Brit gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Brit throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lee on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Brit throws a head kick that half lands.
Brit lands with a kick to the temple. Lee shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Nice sprawl there from Brit as Lee shoots in.
Jimmy Brit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Lee.

Brit instigates a clinch.
Lee misses with a hook to the ribs.

Lee decides to pull guard.
Brit wanted to stand there but Lee had control of the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lee is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Brit defends well.
Brit would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brit gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brit moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A head kick misses from Brit.
Brit dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lee. That did some damage!
Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Brit circles away.
Brit keeps the fight on the outside.
Lee throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Brit connects with a solid leg kick.
Lee tries to clinch up.
Jimmy Brit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brit instigates a clinch.

Brit breaks the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lee.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lee takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jimmy Brit dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!



Brit closes the distance and clinches.
Lee tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Brit smiles and moves away.
Lee takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Lee gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Brit.
Jimmy Brit is winning the standup battle so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A chopping leg kick lands by Brit.
Brit lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Lee shoots for a takedown but Brit saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brit, as that shot connected.
Lee avoids the head kick by Brit.
Brit goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brit misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lee takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Good leg kick by Brit there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lee's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Brit scores with a head kick. Lee tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Brit scoring well with a low kick there.
Jimmy Brit is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Brit fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lee manages to avoid it.
Brit lands a nice hook to Lee's body. Lee takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Brit walks into a stiff left hand from Lee.

Lee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jimmy Brit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Lee.

Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lee tries for a takedown but Brit sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Brit is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Well Brit has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
