Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Whos Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Machida wants it to stay on the feet.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Machida.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Guy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Machida wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Machida really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Guy has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Machida is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Guy.

Well Machida has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
