Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wilson Maughan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Styles comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Styles P - They Call Me The Ghost kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Wilson Maughan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Styles! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Styles looks for the body kick but Maughan saw that one coming. Maughan jabs Styles to the body, keeping him at a distance. Maughan lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Maughan connects with a body shot that sends Styles's belly button to the back. Styles with a lazy takedown attempt and Maughan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Maughan leaves Styles with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Styles is defended easily by Maughan. Wilson Maughan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Styles. Styles shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Maughan but Maughan pushes him off and we're back to square one. Styles changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maughan tries to avoid it but Styles manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maughan to the ground. Maughan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Maughan lands a body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Styles is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Styles's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Maughan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Styles scrambles back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maughan sizes up Styles with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Styles is trying hard to land a takedown here. Maughan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Styles misses with a takedown attempt - Maughan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Styles looks gassed! Maughan connects with a right that clearly hurt Styles. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Maughan proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Styles collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wilson Maughan! A less than humble Wilson Maughan misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
