Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sebasti Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Surfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Surfer has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez lands with a nice body punch.
Surfer on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Alvarez. Alvarez obviously looking to wear him down.
Alvarez lets loose with a powerful body kick. Surfer will feel that in the morning.
Surfer looks gassed!
Decent striking displayed by Alvarez there.
Surfer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Surfer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Surfer tries to close the distance and clinch but Alvarez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jab, jab by Alvarez - just one landing.
Alvarez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Surfer's head backwards.
Joe Surfer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alvarez thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Surfer if he has to take too many more of those.
A shot to the liver by Alvarez. Beautiful body shot.
Alvarez connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Surfer's hands.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Surfer takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Alvarez lands a right hook to the body.
Alvarez cracks the inside of Surfer's front leg.
Alvarez darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Alvarez lands with a good body shot.
Alvarez scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Alvarez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Alvarez lands a right hook to the body.
Surfer takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Surfer tries to move into range but Alvarez moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A nice leg kick lands there from Alvarez.
Alvarez dips to his left and cracks Surfer with an uppercut!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Alvarez.
Surfer takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Surfer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Alvarez is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Alvarez comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Alvarez thows a body kick. Surfer tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Alvarez throws a quick inside leg kick.
Surfer has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Surfer there as he acknowledges the shot.
Alvarez is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Surfer is rocked!
Surfer takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Surfer is still on wobbly legs! Can Alvarez finish him?
Surfer looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Alvarez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Surfer doesn't seem bothered though.
Alvarez closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Alvarez clobbers Surfer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Alvarez pushes Surfer away with a front kick.

Alvarez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Alvarez scores with a head kick. Surfer tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Alvarez comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Alvarez moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Alvarez is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Whack! Alvarez lands a heavy head kick that drops Surfer. The ref tackles Alvarez to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Surfer was done.
