Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ross MAN (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Vasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasquez has chosen The Rolling Stones-Gimmie Shelter as his entrance music. Rafael Vasquez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross MAN! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rafael Vasquez! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MAN changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vasquez tries to avoid it but MAN manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vasquez to the ground. Vasquez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by MAN. MAN blocks the strikes from Vasquez.
Vasquez is looking for a sweep. MAN wants to control but Vasquez is keeping him busy. Vasquez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but MAN wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. MAN wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vasquez keeps working. Vasquez tries to strike from the bottom but misses. MAN wants to stand but Vasquez has his arm trapped.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. MAN tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vasquez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round. MAN shoots for a double leg takedown but Vasquez sprawls well. He's pushed MAN's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. MAN closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vasquez circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ross MAN. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vasquez scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. MAN missing with punches from the bottom.
Vasquez works his foot free and advances to mount. Vasquez is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but MAN is surviving well by controlling Vasquez's body position as best he can. Vasquez lands a big shot there that rocks MAN but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

MAN wants to hold on but Vasquez pushes him away. Vasquez is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but MAN is surviving well by controlling Vasquez's body position as best he can. MAN tries to get back to half guard but can't. MAN is working hard here to advance position. MAN wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Vasquez.

That's three minutes gone in the round. MAN gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. MAN tries to kick Vasquez off but Vasquez keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. MAN is breathing heavily. MAN missing with punches from the bottom.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Vasquez is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and MAN defends it well. Vasquez tries to pass the half guard into mount. MAN knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Vasquez is looking for a kimura here.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vasquez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight stays on the outside here - MAN looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Vasquez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Vasquez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Vasquez avoids the attempt from MAN to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rafael Vasquez dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Vasquez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. MAN throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and MAN defends it well. MAN slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Vasquez wants to pass the guard but MAN is keeping the position. Vasquez is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. MAN looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
MAN manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Vasquez manages to get himself to full guard.

Vasquez utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Vasquez throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
Vasquez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vasquez wants to sweep here but MAN controlling him for the moment. Vasquez is looking for a triangle but MAN pushes his legs off easily.
MAN has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Vasquez to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! MAN is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Vasquez pulls down on the head and he's put MAN to sleep! This one is all over!
