Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Mickiewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Hoover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoover has chosen March of the Templars as his entrance music. Edgar Hoover has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoover moves into the clinch successfully.
Hoover is trying to trip Mickiewicz. He has hold of a leg but Mickiewicz is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hoover persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Mickiewicz doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Hoover fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mickiewicz sprawls well initially but Hoover persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hoover seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mickiewicz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hoover lands a big elbow - Mickiewicz is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Hoover!

A pretty intense looking Edgar Hoover took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
