The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiew looks for a takedown but Lee sprawls well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bruce Lee.
Tiew tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Lee dives in and scores a takedown into Tiew's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lee in particular looking to stall.
Lee has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Lee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lee quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Lee but it's paid off an Tiew is forced to tap! Nice work by Lee.
