The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Washington or perhaps it was just good defense by Machado which made him look bad.
Washington stuffs the takedown.
Washington wants to clinch up but Machado keeps it at a distance.
Washington shoots in but Machado avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Washington is looking to clinch but Machado is avoiding it.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Machado cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The referee warns Washington that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Washington wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Machado.
