PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Arona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boston Terrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terrier has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Terrier swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Arona. Arona controlling from side mount. Terrier should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Arona is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Terrier looks calm but he's in trouble here. Arona gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Terrier is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Arona lets go of the hold and Terrier can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ricardo Arona! After winning the bout, Ricardo Arona thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
