Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Foxtrot Kilo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Fertit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilo comes to the cage accompanied by Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo. Fertit has chosen Roots Bloody Roots as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilo looks to throw the jab but Fertit is out of range.
Fertit closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Fertit is looking to take a break and control but Kilo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kilo tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Fertit trying to control the position but Kilo is working away.
Fertit in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dante Fertit hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Fertit tries for a takedown but Kilo circles away easily
and Kilo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kilo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fertit.

Fertit closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kilo's guard.

Kilo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kilo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Fertit bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fertit lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kilo down.
Kilo seems a little lost for a moment, as Fertit dominates the positioning.
Fertit taking a break here but Kilo is having none of it and regains half guard.
Fertit seems to be working for a kimura but Kilo defends the submission attempt.
Fertit looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kilo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kilo is staying active underneath Fertit, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Kilo won't allow Fertit to pass to mount.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dante Fertit was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Foxtrot Kilo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dante Fertit.

Kilo throws a sloppy body shot
and Fertit counters with a nice body shot.
Fertit fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kilo sprawls well initially but Fertit persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kilo is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Fertit scores with a couple of nice shots.
Fertit wants to stand up but Kilo is controlling the position.
Fertit not doing much here.

Fertit is keen to just control but Kilo is a slippery customer.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fertit thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Dante Fertit showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Foxtrot Kilo's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Fertit rushes Kilo and presses him up against the cage.
Kilo working hard to break the clinch.
Kilo is trying to break free.
Fertit has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kilo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kilo is trying to force a seperation but Fertit has the dominant position.

Fertit working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kilo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Fertit is tightening it up a little... Kilo has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kilo reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kilo taps out! Nice BJJ there by Fertit!
