Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nikolino Visnjic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Heath Brogan! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Visnjic throws a series of punches but Brogan moves out of range. Visnjic misses with a double jab.
Visnjic is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brogan. Visnjic scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Visnjic cracks Brogan with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Heath Brogan has been cut. Visnjic fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Brogan on the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A punch combination from Visnjic misses. Brogan dodges the punch combination from Visnjic.
Visnjic connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Brogan's hands. Brogan is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Visnjic. A slow jab from Visnjic misses its intended target. Nikolino Visnjic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Visnjic looks to land a left hand but Brogan moved out of range nicely. Visnjic is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Brogan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Visnjic is fending him off so far but Brogan persists. Nope, Visnjic circles away and we're back to standing. Visnjic tries to bum rush Brogan with a series of wild strikes but Brogan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Brogan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Visnjic quickly recovers to half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Brogan is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Brogan is trying to work for a kimura but Visnjic is defending well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Visnjic is defending against the submission attempts here by Brogan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Visnjic wants to get back to his feet. Brogan is working for a kimura but Visnjic is defending it quite comfortably.
Brogan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Brogan steps over the head and cranks it - Visnjic is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Brogan!
