Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kane Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcello Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up with Davis, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes Davis against the cage but Davis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Davis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Davis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sanchez moves away.
Davis fails to land with a series of punches.
Kane Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Sanchez counters with a single leg into guard. Davis didn't expect that.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
