Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kane Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcello Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kane Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcello Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up with Davis, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes Davis against the cage but Davis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Davis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sanchez has a takedown stuffed. Davis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sanchez moves away. Davis fails to land with a series of punches.
Kane Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Davis misses with a double jab
and Sanchez counters with a single leg into guard. Davis didn't expect that. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Sanchez with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Sanchez is working Davis over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Davis working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sanchez. Davis is looking to stand up but Sanchez isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sanchez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Davis avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sanchez chips away with some ground and pound. Davis trying to strike off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez cracks Davis with a solid left hand. Sanchez with a flurry of punches that miss. Sanchez with a nice head shot there. Sanchez trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom. Sanchez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sanchez throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sanchez loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Davis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sanchez is controlling him. Sanchez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sanchez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Davis works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sanchez connects with a couple of short punches. Davis keeping moving, preventing Sanchez from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Sanchez throwing strikes but missing. Sanchez slips nicely into half guard. Davis trying to control but Sanchez postures up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sanchez throwing shots but Davis is blocking nicely. Sanchez winds up and cracks Davis with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Sanchez not landing any meaningful shots this time. Davis on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Davis tries to get out of the position. Sanchez not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sanchez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Davis keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Davis wants to control but Sanchez is keeping busy.
Sanchez lands with a punch from half guard. Sanchez slips a nice elbow through Davis's hands, connecting with Davis's forehead. Davis wants to control but Sanchez passes into side.
Davis tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sanchez scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Davis to see if he's OK. Sanchez working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Davis down.
Sanchez cracks Davis with a big right hand but Davis just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Davis is trying to get back to his feet. Sanchez trying to control the position but Davis is working away. Sanchez lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Davis tries to improve position but can't. Davis is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Sanchez is one step ahead and moves to full mount! The referee warns Davis that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sanchez landing strikes, looking to finish! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sanchez trying to control but Davis is having none of it. Davis is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sloppy strikes from Davis. Those never looked like landing. Davis closes the distance and clinches. Sanchez has Davis pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Davis manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Davis tries to throw a body punch but Sanchez avoids it by throwing Davis back against the cage. Davis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Davis throws a nice looking combination but Sanchez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sanchez slips a jab and a cross from Davis.
Davis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Marcello Sanchez has been cut. Sanchez shoots for a takedown but Davis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Sanchez shoots in but Davis avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kane Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcello Sanchez. Excellent takedown into side control there by Sanchez. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Check out the look on Sanchez's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Sanchez looks up at the clock and then as Davis takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sanchez smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Sanchez lands a nice forearm strike. Davis is looking to get back to his feet here but Sanchez is keeping cool and he's managed to take Davis's back. Davis is trying to get back to his feet but Sanchez has full control of the position and if anything, Davis has just worked his way into a worse spot. Sanchez lands punches and elbows. Sanchez gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Sanchez lands an elbow to the side of the head. Sanchez landing with strikes.

Sanchez lands with a hammerfist to the side of Davis's head. Sanchez scores with punches and elbows. Davis is trapped and Sanchez is scoring with shots to the head and body. Marcello Sanchez has got the better of the ground game so far. Sanchez is working the ground and pound. Can Davis escape? Davis is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Sanchez gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Sanchez apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Davis throws a series of punches but Sanchez moves out of range. Davis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sanchez. A combination from Davis does no damage. Sanchez shoots in for a double leg but Davis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sanchez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Davis defends it nicely. Davis throws a one two combo.
Davis throws a half hearted mid kick. Nice takedown defense from Davis. No joy for Sanchez on that attempt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sanchez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Davis sprawls well. Davis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sanchez gets slowly back to his feet. Sanchez is breathing heavily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sanchez is defended easily by Davis.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davis lands with a right that hurts Sanchez. Sanchez looks to clinch but Davis throws a short knee that drops Sanchez. This one is all over!
