The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falco misses with a straight left.
Falco tries for a takedown but Hughes circles away easily
and Hughes counters with a two punch combo.
Falco misses with a looping left.
Hughes gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Falco takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Dino Falco has been cut.
Falco can't break the clinch.
Hughes lands an elbow inside.
Hughes scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Still in the clinch, Hughes scores with a nice short uppercut.
Falco tries to pull guard but Hughes forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Ryan Hughes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dino Falco.
Hughes gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Hughes pushes Falco back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Clinched against the cage, Hughes lands a big elbow that drops Falco! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Falco is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
