PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Redshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bu Laia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redshaw's entrance music is ACDC - Skies on Fire. A fine choice. Laia is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hawaii '78 by Brudda Iz. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redshaw slips a jab from Laia.

Redshaw closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Laia gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Laia is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Redshaw.

Some bone on bone action there as Redshaw checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Dexter Redshaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Redshaw throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Laia's waist but Laia gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Redshaw off to one side.
