Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hezekiah Munson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Namor McKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Munson comes to the cage accompanied by Showdown. The crowd seem to be enjoying McKenzie's choice of entrance music: Man From Atlantis. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munson shoots in for a double leg but McKenzie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Munson throws a lazy head kick
and Munson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
McKenzie lands with a shot to the body.
Munson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Munson looking to score a takedown here. McKenzie is defending well but Munson drives through and ends up in McKenzie's guard.

McKenzie drops Munson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Munson looks back up at him and smiles so McKenzie waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

McKenzie scores with a crisp jab that stopped Munson in his tracks.

Munson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McKenzie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McKenzie leaves Munson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McKenzie has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Munson checks a leg kick.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Munson closes the distance and clinches up with McKenzie, looking for a takedown. Munson pushes McKenzie against the cage but McKenzie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hezekiah Munson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That kick from McKenzie tenderised Munson's leg. Munson is trying to keep his angry face on.
McKenzie throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Munson walks forward, straight into a front kick from McKenzie.
Munson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McKenzie.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Munson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McKenzie - the referee stops the clock and Munson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McKenzie. Munson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Munson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
McKenzie scores with a hook to the body. Munson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
McKenzie tests Munson's chin there with a solid looking shot.

McKenzie lands a nice shot that snaps Munson's head back.
McKenzie fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
McKenzie lands a big head kick that sends Munson tumbling to the mat! McKenzie takes a step backwards and waves Munson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Munson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McKenzie moves in close and cracks Munson with a massive right hand! Munson, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by McKenzie!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Namor McKenzie!
Namor McKenzie is the new heavyweight champion!
Namor McKenzie bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
