Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jay Fatts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uljas Tossavainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fatts comes into the arena with Hit Em Up by Tupac blaring out of the sound system. Jay Fatts is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Fatts! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Uljas Tossavainen! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fatts looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Tossavainen controls Fatts momentarily but Fatts frees himself. Fatts missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fatts has gone for a leg lock! Tossavainen slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fatts's guard. Tossavainen preventing the sweep. Fatts is working hard here to advance position. Fatts trying to control the position.
Fatts working for submissions but it's allowed Tossavainen to get to half guard.
Tossavainen is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fatts wants to get back to full guard. Tossavainen seems to be working for a kimura but Fatts defends the submission attempt. Fatts wants to improve his position but Tossavainen is controlling well.
Fatts is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Tossavainen pulls his head out easily. Fatts tries to get to full guard but Tossavainen has control of the leg. Tossavainen is trying to work for a kimura but Fatts is defending well.
Tossavainen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fatts doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tossavainen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice sprawl there from Tossavainen as Fatts shoots in. Fatts shoots in for a double leg but Tossavainen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Tossavainen throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Fatts is breathing heavily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fatts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Fatts. That's going to take a lot out of him. A slapping leg kick lands for Tossavainen.
Tossavainen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Tossavainen passes to full mount! Fatts tries to reverse the position but Tossavainen maintains control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tossavainen manages to capitalize on a mistake by Fatts to take his back! Tossavainen is trying to stick to Fatts's back but Fatts is turning into Tossavainen. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Tossavainen's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Fatts. Fatts passes easily into side control. Nice work. Fatts advances to full mount. Fatts working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Fatts lands a heavy elbow. Fatts looking to secure an arm triangle but Tossavainen defends it well. Fatts trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fatts swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Tossavainen is now in Fatts's guard. A big mistake from Fatts there, giving up the dominant position! Fatts has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tossavainen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Fatts throws his legs up looking for a submission but Tossavainen uses it to pass to side control.
Fatts manages to get back to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tossavainen lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Uljas Tossavainen dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Fatts has his takedown stuffed and Tossavainen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fatts's guard now. Fatts wants to stand and escape but Tossavainen is having none of it. Fatts is trying to control the position but Tossavainen postures up. Tossavainen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Fatts working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tossavainen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tossavainen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fatts will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Fatts lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tossavainen! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tossavainen tries to hold on but Fatts pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fatts jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tossavainen is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tossavainen and Fatts has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Fatts is looking to take a break and control but Tossavainen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tossavainen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Fatts's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Fatts passes to side control. Fatts throwing strikes but Tossavainen manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tossavainen tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Tossavainen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Fatts manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Uljas Tossavainen has got the better of the ground game so far. Fatts is looking to improve his position.
Fatts gets full guard. Fatts will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Tossavainen wants to control from the top but Fatts keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fatts is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Fatts controls Tossavainen momentarily but Tossavainen frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fatts has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Tossavainen off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Tossavainen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fatts drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Fatts wants to get up but he can't break Tossavainen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Fatts trying to control but Tossavainen is working from the bottom. Fatts throws a strike but Tossavainen rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fatts is looking for a triangle but Tossavainen pushes his legs off easily.

Tossavainen in side control, just content to control the action for now. Tossavainen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fatts, who protects the arm well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Uljas Tossavainen will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

That's one minute gone in the round. Tossavainen prevents Fatts from getting the reversal. Tossavainen looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Fatts regains half guard. Tossavainen works his way into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fatts is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Fatts is looking to improve his position.
