Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Puska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viljo Suokas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puska comes into the arena with You Ain't Stoppin Me !!!! blaring out of the sound system. Mike Puska has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suokas misses with a head kick.
Puska will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Puska tests Suokas's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Puska throws a lazy right hand but Suokas sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mike Puska seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Suokas closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Puska quickly recovers to half guard.

Suokas is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Mike Puska overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Puska is working for a kimura but Suokas is defending it quite comfortably.

Suokas is looking to control Puska's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Suokas avoid being mounted?

Puska wants to free his trapped foot but Suokas is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Puska is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Suokas is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Puska has taken his back.
Puska has his arm under Suokas's chin here. Game over son! Puska squeezes tightly and Suokas is forced to tap out!

In his post fight interview, Mike Puska started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
