Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gareth Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Ruslov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gareth Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis tries to clinch but Ruslov is having none of it.
Lewis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ruslov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ruslov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Ruslov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Lewis wants to control but Ruslov is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Ruslov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lewis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Lewis wants to control but Ruslov is keeping busy.
Lewis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ruslov performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Lewis lands with a slapping head kick.
Ruslov shoots in but Lewis avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lewis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ruslov to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Ruslov cracks Lewis with a big right hand but Lewis just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ruslov passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Lewis!
BOOM! Ruslov connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Ruslov cracks Lewis with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Lewis is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ruslov is landing with some decent strikes but Lewis is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Ruslov with shots to the head and body - Lewis looks very uncomfortable down there.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ruslov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Lewis is bucking up trying to escape but Ruslov cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Lewis is looking to improve his position but Ruslov isn't that keen on the idea.
Ruslov wants to control the pace but Lewis is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ruslov is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lewis can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Ruslov wants to control the pace but Lewis is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrei Ruslov dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ruslov shoots in but no luck this time.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Ruslov.
Ruslov has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Lewis seems a little lost for a moment, as Ruslov dominates the positioning.
Ruslov is looking to take a break and control but Lewis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ruslov cracks Lewis with a big right hand but Lewis just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lewis takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Lewis can't do much from the bottom here.
Ruslov moves into full mount!

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Ruslov. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ruslov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lewis's face.
Lewis is rocked!
It looks like Gareth Lewis has been cut.
Ruslov softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Lewis is out cold! Ruslov jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrei Ruslov!
