Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Batalha Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Gabourie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabourie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Get Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Gabourie scores with a four punch combination!
Silva slips a jab and a cross from Gabourie.
Gabourie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Gabourie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Silva manages to escape and get back to his feet.

and Silva decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gabourie's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gabourie can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Gabourie is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back!
Gabourie has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Silva! Can he survive? No! He's out! Gabourie gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
