The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puno Jr connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Puno Jr tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Flabbott manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Flabbott drops down looking for an ankle pick but Puno Jr pulls his leg out and moves away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Flabbott looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Horrible takedown by Flabbott or perhaps it was just good defense by Puno Jr which made him look bad.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Puno Jr's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Flabbott changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Puno Jr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Flabbott is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Puno Jr is hurt! He's hurt bad - Flabbott fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Puno Jr from any more punishment! Congratulations to Flabbott! Great finish!
