The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilmour connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rogan's hands.
Rogan moves in looking to clinch but Gilmour pushes him off.
Rogan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gilmour sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rogan somewhat.
Gilmour misses with a leg kick
letting Rogan counter with a right hand.
Gilmour lands with a good body shot.
Gilmour misses with a wild body shot.
Rogan staying out of range there.
Gilmour misses with a few strikes there.
Rogan needs to keep his hands up - Gilmour had a free shot at his head there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rogan looks for a takedown but Gilmour sprawls well.

Rogan has managed to clinch.
Gilmour goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Gilmour lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Rogan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gilmour fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Rogan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gilmour scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Nice defenses there by Rogan.
No joy there for Gilmour, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gilmour paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.


It looks like Joe Rogan has been cut.

Gilmour swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
David Gilmour seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gilmour digs a good body shot into Rogan's ribs.

Rogan gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gilmour.
Gilmour throws an overhand right that lands on Rogan's shoulder, as Rogan tries to avoid the shot.
Rogan misses with a head kick.
Gilmour lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Gilmour works Rogan's body with a nice hook.
Gilmour takes a swing at Rogan's ribcage but misses.

and Gilmour makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Rogan gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Rogan tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Gilmour is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Rogan buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Rogan!! Rogan is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Gilmour throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
