Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimo Twist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams's entrance music is Big Bad Wolf by Duck Sauce. A fine choice. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kimo Twist! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams lands a two punch combo.
Williams lands a jab to the head.
Williams tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Twist is able to avoid easily. Williams tries for a takedown but Twist sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Twist scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Twist landing strikes. Twist wants to control but Williams is keeping him busy. Twist throws an elbow but Williams slips to the side and avoids it well. Twist scoring with punches from side control. Williams is trying to get back to half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Twist tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Twist throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Williams defending against the ground and pound. Williams is looking for a sweep. Twist throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Williams works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Twist postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Twist is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Twist throwing strikes from guard but Williams blocks nicely. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Williams is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kimo Twist dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Twist tried to score with a low kick but Williams checks it. Twist shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Williams defends it nicely. Twist throws a solid leg kick but Williams takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Twist. David Williams is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Twist moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Twist is looking to land body kicks. Kimo Twist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from Williams misses. Williams misses with a low kick as Twist jumps back. Twist looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Williams throws a leg kick but Twist sees it coming and checks it nicely. Williams lands a jab. Then a cross. A momentary lapse in concentration from Williams enables Twist to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Williams manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Twist postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Williams is looking for a triangle but Twist pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Twist defends it easily. Williams is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Twist knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Williams throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Twist is looking to reverse the position. Williams in side control, throwing shots but Twist defends. Twist is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Williams has just dragged him back down to the mat. Twist is looking for a sweep. Twist gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Twist avoids a series of strikes thrown by Williams.

Nope, Williams circles away and we're back to standing. Williams displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Twist throws out the jab. A clash of legs there as Williams blocks the low kick. Twist swings for the body but Williams moves out of range.

Twist stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Williams has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Twist manages to get his head free but now Williams has transitioned to an armbar! Twist grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Williams! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
