Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Thiago Junior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terra throws a chopping leg kick but Junior manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Danga de danga de dang - Terra scores with a four punch combination!
Terra moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Terra blocks the leg kick.
Terra jabs Junior right on the nose. Junior blinks but takes it well.
Terra tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Junior was well out of range. Poor timing from Terra.
Junior walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Terra defending well as Junior loads up on a big left hand.
Terra throws a push kick but Junior slaps the foot to one side.
Junior uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Terra.
A bone on bone clash there as Terra blocks the leg kick.
Junior keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Terra.
Terra tries to clinch up
and Junior counters with a series of strikes. Terra will be more careful next time no doubt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Junior moves into range and connects with a jab.

Terra pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick misses from Terra.
Junior misses with a low kick as Terra jumps back.
Terra needs to keep his hands up - Junior had a free shot at his head there.
Terra tries to bum rush Junior with a series of wild strikes but Junior uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Terra throws a wild body kick that Junior sees coming a mile off.
Terra keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Terra moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Terra throws a combination that misses
and Junior makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Junior misses with an attempted mid kick.
Terra scores with a head kick. Junior tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Terra throws a right and a left that Junior avoids nicely.
Junior misses with a few strikes there.

Terra throws a series of strikes that have Junior backpedaling.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Terra swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Junior counters with a nice uppercut.
A left and a right from Junior both land. Nice combination.
Terra throws a leg kick that is checked
and Junior connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Terra closes the distance looking to clinch
and Junior counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Terra shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Junior as he avoids it easily.
Terra swings for the body but Junior moves out of range.
Junior ducks under a wild hook from Terra.
An inside leg kick lands from Junior.
Terra misses with a series of wild punches.
Terra wants to clinch but Junior slips to the side
and Junior counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A clash of legs there as Terra blocks the low kick.

Junior misses with a body shot.
Terra tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Junior manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Junior! Terra is out on his feet! Junior rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Terra is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Terra is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thiago Junior!
Thiago Junior decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
