Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vintage Vodka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Quintillus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eli Quintillus is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vintage Vodka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eli Quintillus !
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vodka throws a big shot that misses.
Vodka fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Quintillus has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Vodka with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Vodka waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Quintillus .
Quintillus fails with the takedown.

Vodka shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Quintillus is trying to defend but Vodka finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vodka takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Quintillus on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Quintillus is staying active underneath Vodka, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Quintillus tries to roll over but Vodka keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quintillus keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Vodka thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Quintillus 's head.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Quintillus can do anything to dispel that myth.
Nice strikes from Vodka there.
Vodka is nestled in close to Quintillus , controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Quintillus is rocked!
Vodka lands a big elbow - Quintillus is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Vodka!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vintage Vodka!
Vintage Vodka decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
