Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Acevedes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kong Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Acevedes's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, California Love. Le is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ave Maria. Kong Le has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Marcus Acevedes's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Acevedes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kong Le! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Acevedes slips a jab from Le. Le tries a head kick but it misses.
Acevedes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Le showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Acevedes.
Acevedes shoots in but no luck this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Acevedes takes a kick to the side of the head.

Le eats them both and turns towards Acevedes to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Acevedes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Le swivels and escapes. Le throws a low kick but Acevedes moves out of range easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Acevedes tries for a takedown but Le sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Marcus Acevedes. A head kick misses from Le. Le pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A jab lands there for Acevedes. Le throws a left and a right that both miss
and Acevedes counters with a straight right hand. Le throws a low kick but it's checked well by Acevedes. Le uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Acevedes.

Le throws a hook to the side of Acevedes's head but Acevedes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Le tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. That sent Acevedes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A head kick misses from Le. Acevedes misses with a double jab
and Le counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Kong Le will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Marcus Acevedes's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

and Acevedes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. No luck for Acevedes with that takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Acevedes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Acevedes. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Le leaves Acevedes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Marcus Acevedes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Le tries a head kick but it misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Kong Le comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Le winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
