Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Lollapalooza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Plenty Raines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raines fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lollapalooza misses with a takedown
and Raines counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lollapalooza won't be happy with that.
Raines staying calm.
Lollapalooza tries to improve position but can't.
Lollapalooza is not content to let Raines control the position.
Lollapalooza tries to escape but Raines is in control.

Raines tries to stand but can't do so whilst Lollapalooza controls his leg.

Lollapalooza has hold of Raines's hands but Raines slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Lollapalooza wants to control but Raines is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Raines seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lollapalooza does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Raines closes the distance and clinches.
Lollapalooza tries to score a body lock takedown but Raines shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Raines gets underhooks to prevent Lollapalooza's takedown attempt.

Raines lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Raines in particular looking to stall.

Raines looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lollapalooza with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Raines looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Raines working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Raines decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lollapalooza tries to roll over but Raines keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Raines lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Raines stands up out of the half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Plenty Raines dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Raines works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Raines lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Raines shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lollapalooza's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Raines throws a strike but Lollapalooza rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Lollapalooza prevents Raines from getting back to his feet.

Raines pulls Lollapalooza in close to his closed guard and prevents Lollapalooza from doing any damage or advancing position.
Lollapalooza wants to stand but Raines has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Raines wants to get back to his feet but Lollapalooza is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Raines is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lollapalooza is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Raines wants to take a breather but Lollapalooza is having none of it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Raines lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lollapalooza down.
Raines cracks Lollapalooza with a big right hand but Lollapalooza just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lollapalooza takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Lollapalooza is rocked!
Raines lands an elbow.
Oh Lollapalooza is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Raines scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Lollapalooza is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Raines can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
