Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lima showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rodriguez.
Rodriguez throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Lima.
Rodriguez connects with a right hand. Lima shakes it off.
Rodriguez throws a right and a left that Lima avoids nicely.
Rodriguez leaves Lima with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rodriguez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lima paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lima shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rodriguez but Rodriguez pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lima fails to land the takedown.
Enrique Rodriguez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mariano Lima.
Lima looks gassed!
Lima shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rodriguez as he jumps to the side.
Lima tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rodriguez catches Lima with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Rodriguez keeps the fight on the outside.
Rodriguez drops Lima with a beautiful combination! Lima stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rodriguez is looking for the KO!
Lima is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Rodriguez moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Lima! Rodriguez continues to tee off on Lima, landing with a left and a right! Rodriguez connects with a right hand that leaves Lima sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Rodriguez!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Enrique Rodriguez!
