Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between MadDog McMahon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joel Fletcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McMahon comes to the cage accompanied by Bark at the moon by Ozzy Osbourne. Joel Fletcher has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with MadDog McMahon's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, MadDog McMahon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joel Fletcher!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McMahon scores with a jab. Fletcher acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Fletcher steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McMahon.
Fletcher lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McMahon circles away quickly and effectively.

and McMahon counters with a nice uppercut.


It looks like Joel Fletcher has been cut.
McMahon avoids a punch combination nicely.
McMahon leaves Fletcher with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

McMahon throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fletcher on the side of the head.
Nice takedown defense from McMahon. No joy for Fletcher on that attempt.
MadDog McMahon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joel Fletcher.
Fletcher gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McMahon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Fletcher is staying active underneath McMahon, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
McMahon frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McMahon has control of Fletcher's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Fletcher regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Fletcher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McMahon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fletcher can do anything to dispel that myth.

McMahon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fletcher is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McMahon is looking to take a break and control but Fletcher is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McMahon tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



McMahon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Fletcher really wants to buck McMahon off and get back to his feet.

McMahon is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Fletcher can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
You get the feeling that Fletcher really doesn't like being in this position too much.
McMahon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

McMahon is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by McMahon!

MadDog McMahon looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'It was a massacre just the way i predicted MadDog Mcmahon will be a house hold name!'.
