Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bundy comes to the cage accompanied by Bad to The Bone. Russo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Destroy Everything. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Al Bundy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Russo! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Bundy. Bundy misses with a straight right. Bundy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Russo throws out the jab. Russo throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Russo throws a series of punches but Bundy moves out of range. Bundy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Russo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Russo lands with a cross. Russo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Bundy misses with a leg kick and Russo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bundy thinking. Russo throws a head kick that misses. A slapping leg kick lands for Bundy.
Bundy throws a looping overhand right but Russo ducks down to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bundy lands a jab to the head.
It looks like Jimmy Russo has been cut. Sloppy strikes from Russo. Those never looked like landing. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bundy. Bundy gets a takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Bundy lands with a punch from half guard. Russo tries to get to full guard but Bundy has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bundy seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Russo wants to improve his position but Bundy is controlling well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bundy lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Russo keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bundy throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bundy looks to land a strike but Russo avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Russo wants to sweep here but Bundy controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bundy drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Russo dives on top into guard. Bundy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Russo! Bundy lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bundy is trying to control here but Russo has managed to regain half guard.

Jab by Russo. Bundy shoots in for a takedown but Russo shows good takedown defense. Bundy throws a good cross that connects.
That has opened up Jimmy Russo's cut even more. Russo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Russo lands in his opponent's guard. Russo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bundy is keeping the position for now. Russo pushes down on Bundy's leg and manages to get into half guard. Bundy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Russo throwing shots but Bundy is blocking nicely. Russo is pressing down on Bundy's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bundy is holding on for now. Russo wants to take a breather but Bundy is having none of it. Still in half guard, Russo seems content to control. Al Bundy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Russo is just content to waste time from the top position. Bundy takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Russo throws a big right hand that misses. Russo preventing the sweep. Russo throws a strike but Bundy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Bundy wants to control from the top but Russo keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bundy works over Russo with some ground and pound from guard. Bundy with a flurry of punches that miss. Russo keeping full guard, as Bundy tries to pass. Bundy wants to control from the top but Russo keeps moving. Bundy stopping the sweep attempt from Russo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bundy with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Bundy trying to control the position from guard on top but Russo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bundy trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bundy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bundy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Russo is keeping the position for now. Bundy postures up in Russo's guard and throws a big left but Russo blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Russo working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Bundy has passed into half guard!
Bundy throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bundy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bundy is looking to take a break and control but Russo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Russo has a hand on Bundy's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Bundy takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bundy scoring with strikes but Russo is staying in there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Russo fakes the leg kick and cracks Bundy in the body. Russo scores with a sloppy right hand. Bundy should have avoided that one. Bundy fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bundy shoots in but no luck this time. Bundy lands a nice looking body shot.
Bundy dives in and grabs Russo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Russo pushes down on Bundy's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Al Bundy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bundy throws a left that rocks Russo and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bundy dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Russo regain composure!

That's one minute gone in the round. Bundy lands a strong strike to the head of Russo. That's dazed him! Bundy looking to finish here. Russo is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Bundy lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
