7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Grigori Rasputin! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rasputin scores with a three punch combo!

Rasputin throws a lazy right hand but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown but Rasputin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gracie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Rasputin sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Rasputin throws a head kick that misses. Rasputin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gracie blocks a head kick by Rasputin.
A nice leg kick lands there from Rasputin. Rasputin has closed the distance and engaged Gracie in a clinch.

It looks like Peter Gracie has been cut. Peter Gracie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gracie avoids a kick to the body.
Gracie throws a right and a left that both miss. Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rasputin tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rasputin to the ground. Rasputin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gracie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rasputin's half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

No, Rasputin has managed to free his arm - good work. Peter Gracie overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rasputin is trying to stand back up but Gracie is controlling him
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie looking for a submission but Rasputin manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

Rasputin pulls Gracie in close to his closed guard and prevents Gracie from doing any damage or advancing position. Rasputin wants to stand but Gracie is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rasputin can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Gracie uses his free foot to push down on Rasputin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rasputin. Gracie moves to the back. Rasputin rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rasputin trying to control but Gracie postures up.

A head kick by Rasputin misses and Gracie counters by clinching up. Gracie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Gracie dives in and scores a takedown into Rasputin's guard. Rasputin is trying to control the position but Gracie postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Peter Gracie will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Peter Gracie's cut. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Rasputin which made him look bad. Rasputin lands with a kick to the temple. Gracie shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Rasputin misses with a head kick.

Rasputin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gracie. That did some damage! Gracie checks a leg kick. Gracie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rasputin but Rasputin pushes him off and we're back to square one. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rasputin.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rasputin thows a body kick. Gracie tries to catch it but that hurt him. Rasputin throws a head kick that misses so Gracie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rasputin is looking to stand up but Gracie isn't so interested in that idea. Rasputin keeping full guard, as Gracie tries to pass. Rasputin lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gracie! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rasputin scoring with strikes but Gracie is staying in there. Rasputin sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rasputin trying to control but Gracie is having none of it. Rasputin is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gracie to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gracie shrugs it off. Rasputin raining down hammerfists from mount. Gracie regains half guard. Rasputin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gracie's head. Rasputin tries to pass to full mount but Gracie defends it. Rasputin trying to control the action but Gracie is working from the bottom. Gracie is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rasputin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rasputin's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Rasputin breaks Gracie's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Rasputin wanted to stand there but Gracie had control of the position. Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rasputin defends it easily. Rasputin trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rasputin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rasputin tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard. Gracie has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Rasputin has passed into side control.
Gracie gets back to half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rasputin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gracie defends it well. Rasputin sitting and controlling from the half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rasputin is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
And that's the end of the fight! Grigori Rasputin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Rasputin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
