The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCork takes a swing at Roberts's ribcage but misses.
McCork misses with a looping right.
McCork keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Roberts misses with a hook. McCork ducked under it nicely.
McCork lands with a shot to the body.
Roberts swings for the body but McCork moves out of range.
McCork slips a jab from Roberts.
Roberts takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Roberts throws a poor cross that misses
and McCork counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Roberts thows a body shot but no joy.

McCork misses with a hook. Roberts ducked under it nicely.
Roberts throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Roberts digs a good hook to McCork's body.

Roberts ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Roberts cracks McCork with a good jab.
McCork misses with a two punch combination.
Jim Roberts is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

McCork throws a head kick but Roberts moves out of range.
McCork connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Roberts's hands.
Roberts scores with a nice right hand.
Roberts moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A looping hook to the body misses from McCork. Roberts does a little dance to reset his feet.
Roberts catches McCork with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

McCork doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Roberts lands an overhand right.
McCork is rocked!
Roberts tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McCork was well out of range. Poor timing from Roberts.
McCork just misses with a punch to the body.
Roberts throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A left and a right from McCork both land. Nice combination.
McCork steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Roberts.
McCork throws a shot from downtown. Roberts moves away and avoids it.
Roberts getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Roberts goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Roberts connects with a single shot there.
Roberts swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Roberts cracks McCork with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Roberts has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning McCork to stand back up!
McCork is still on wobbly legs! Can Roberts finish him?
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Roberts cracks McCork with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends McCork tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Roberts pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! McCork is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Roberts!
