Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yoshida Kotaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralph Waldo Emerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kotaro comes to the cage accompanied by Dance Yourself Clean. Emerson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Welcome to the TerrorDome. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Kotaro closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kotaro wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Emerson, who protects the arm well.

Kotaro is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Emerson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kotaro thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Kotaro has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Emerson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
