Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yoshida Kotaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralph Waldo Emerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kotaro comes to the cage accompanied by Dance Yourself Clean. Emerson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Welcome to the TerrorDome. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yoshida Kotaro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ralph Waldo Emerson! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emerson misses with an uppercut. Kotaro saw that one coming. Emerson misses with an uppercut. Kotaro really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kotaro takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. A jab from Emerson misses. Kotaro ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Emerson misses with a wild body shot. Kotaro closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kotaro wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Emerson, who protects the arm well. Kotaro working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Kotaro is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Emerson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kotaro thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kotaro is trying to get an arm triangle but Emerson is defending well. Kotaro tries for a kimura but Emerson is defending well. Emerson tries to control but Kotaro manages to take his back. Kotaro has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Emerson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Emerson is really stuck here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Emerson avoids the strikes from Kotaro. Kotaro has managed to slip his arm under Emerson's chin. This could be all over... yep, Emerson is tapping out! Submission win for Kotaro.
